Baltimore Ravens win the Super Bowl
What a crazy game! Last night the Baltimore Ravens overcame the forces of electricity as well as a furious comeback from the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII. After a first half domination by the Ravens, the second half started with a bang as Jacoby Jones returned the kickoff an record-breaking 108 yards for the touchdown, putting Baltimore ahead a whopping 28-6. And then the lights went out. The Metrodome in New Orleans experienced a power surge that knocked out over half the lights in the stadium, suspending the game temporarily. After a very awkward 36 minutes, the lights were restored and play resumed. And all of a sudden the tabled turned, and the 49ers mounted an huge comback to bring the game to within two points. But Ray Lewis and the Baltimore defense held when it came down to a 4th and goal for the game. Now is the time to celebrate, Baltimore fans!
