VCU v. Georgetown Tonight in NCAA 2nd Round

Hot off the heels of their thrilling victory over USC on Wednesday, the Rams are poised to take on Georgetown tonight in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament. In a recent Richmond Times-Dispatch article, VCU head coach Shaka Smart said, "I think it really sets up well for us. We have a win under our belt in the NCAA tournament. Everybody else that didn't play in the First Four here has been waiting all week, and now they get a chance to play." That confidence will serve the Rams well, as they face a potentially rejuvenated Georgetown team with the return of star point guard Chris Wright - who missed the last 3 games after breaking a bone in his left hand. Rams guard Joey Rodriguez said, "It's Georgetown, Big East team. People are probably doubting us right now, too. We're going to have to take that mentality into this game. As long as we're in attack mode, I think we'll be fine." And tonight in Chicago, they will get a chance to showcase that attack mode. The game begins at 9:50pm
