Throughout the Richmond area thousands of children are headed off to perfect their favorite sport. Area sports complexes, clubs and local universities host these various camps as coaches and players come together to share and learn while growing in the sport.
University of Richmond hosts some of the best-attended and respected summer camps in the area. With camps offered in almost every sport, the university lends its players, coaches and their top of the line facilities to help aid youngsters while they attend camp. Take a look!

Hampden-Sydney is hosting Elite Soccer Camp for kids in ages ranging up through 9th grade during the week of July 17th through the 20th. The cost is $385. Check out the event to find out how to apply.
Is your child a swimmer? Avalon Swim and Racquet Club Gator Camp has four swimming camp sessions throughout July and August going from 9am-1pm. To register visit www.avalonclub.org. The cost is $125 per week for members and $175 per child and week for non-members.
